Payments – Generating a Receipt/Thank You Letter

 

Step 1

Contact the Database Coordinator to have a receipt/thank you letter template created for your League.


Step 2

After recording a donation in a member’s profile, click the “Paper” icon in the upper right of their profile and choose the desired template. Information from the member’s profile (name, address, donation amount, date, etc.) will auto-populate the form. From there, you can save as a PDF or print onto letterhead.


Helpful Tips

  • This feature will only work on the most recent contribution in a member profile. If you wish to do a letter/receipt for an earlier contribution, temporarily change the date of the desired payment to make it the most recent, generate the letter/receipt, and then put the date back to what it was.

  • After you have generated a letter/receipt, edit the payment itself and put a date in the “Date Thanked” field. This will help you or others using your database see that the task has been completed.
