Lori Sturdevant: Her Honor: Rosalie Wahl and the MN Women's Movement
Author and Minneapolis Star Tribune editorial writer and columnist Lori Sturdevant will speak at the Sept. 15 meeting of the League of Women Voters of Roseville, Maplewood and Falcon Heights. The meeting is co-sponsored by the Ramsey County Library. Sturdevant’s talk will feature her recent book, “Her Honor: Rosalie Wahl and the Minnesota Women’s Movement,” for which she won her third Minnesota Book Award this year. Justice Wahl had roots in the League of Women Voters.
Sturdevant has been with the Star Tribune for nearly 40 years, specializing in coverage of state government, state and local politics and higher education. She has authored and edited many historical books about prominent Minnesotans and has won numerous journalism awards, including the 2010 Graven Award of the Premack Award series for lifetime achievement in journalism.
