Guest speaker Gretchen Sabel will talk about the LWV Upper Mississippi River Region Inter-League Organization (UMRR), a group formed in 2015 to advance LWV's water work in our region. She will focus on the 2023 Federal Farm Bill and other federal water issues.

Gretchen spent 35 years working in environmental programs for the State of Minnesota, retiring in 2014. She then become the first Chair of UMMR. Her current role with UMRR is as Communications Director, where she manages the website, writes blog posts and sends out a monthly newsletter. Gretchen is also President of her local League serving Anoka, Blaine, and Coon Rapids.
