The League of Women Voters Edina welcomes Twila Singh, City of Edina Organics Recycling Coordinator, for a presentation, "Changing How We Manage Food Waste" on April 11, 2024. Ms. Singh will continue her series of presentations on sustainability. In April 2022, she talked about recycling, last April she discussed Fast Fashion and this year she will talk about our food supply. LWVEdina will host a short social time at 9:45 am with the program starting at 10 am at the Edina Senior Center, 5280 Grandview Square in Edina. This program is free and all are welcome.

Singh has been working in the public health field since 2010. She earned a Master of Public Health from North Dakota State University in 2014 and worked for the North Dakota Department of Health as a field epidemiologist. She has been with the City of Edina since February 2020.
