Many changes have been proposed to state and federal election laws that would make it more difficult to register and vote, and more difficult to administer elections. The SAVE Act is only the most visible example of this multi-pronged, multi-jurisdictional effort.
On Tuesday, December 9, Paul Huffman, Election and Redistricting Policy Coordinator for the League of Women Voters of Minnesota, will speak to LWVEdina about the current high level of security in Minnesota and U.S. elections; the barriers to voting that have been proposed by the President, members of Congress, and state legislators; and what you can do to defend democracy.
All are welcome!
