Program: Minnesota Elections Are Secure and Accurate

Our guest speakers will be Luke Turner, Olmsted County Elections Manager, and Christiaan Cartwright, Interim Deputy City Clerk of Rochester. They will describe the commitment to ensuring the integrity and security of the election process in Rochester and Olmsted County. With so much misinformation in social media, it has never been more important for citizens to understand the facts about election procedures. From maintaining the accuracy of voter rolls to publicly testing the accuracy of voting machines; from focusing on cyber security to physical security measures; and from working with partners at the Secretary of State’s office to local law enforcement, these local government election officials ensure that our elections are fair, accessible, and secure. They have a big job, with many new requirements. They will describe it to us, answer our questions, and tell us how we can help.

Annual Membership Meeting: Non-members are welcome to stay to observe the meeting but cannot participate in the business of the meeting. You can join or renew your membership at the event.
